Jane's expertise with color is a mixture of art and science. She's a talented men's and women's stylist, and her skills have been an important part of our salon since we opened our doors. Jane has a gift for making our guests feel right at home. She's funny, empathetic, and in-charge. She lives and breathes our philosophy of quality, professionalism, talent, and fun.

Kim has more than 10 years of experience in elite Redken salons and has trained with some of the industry's top talent. Her "beachy-boho" trademark style has brought her many loyal color clients. Her fun, easy-to-wear, and seemingly effortless looks are underpinned by serious technical craft. Kim is one of our senior artists, and she plays an important role in developing the skills of our younger stylists. Kim is inspired by the pulse and diversity of Brooklyn, and she's dedicated to making the borough beautiful — one head at a time.

Co-owner and stylist
Cori has over 15 years of experience in the industry and 11 years behind the chair, making her a trusted stylist and leader in the salon. For her, it’s more than just “doing hair”. She has a passion for creating a welcoming, non-judgmental space with her special skill of listening to her clients and understanding their unique needs. Cori specializes in major changes, such as corrective colors, shimmering blondes, fashion colors, and curly hair. Her diverse set of skills with all different types of hair color, styles, and design brings an open-minded and unlimited sense of creativity to OPC!

The Colorist Magazine named Ashley one of the top 30 colorists under 30 years old. She has also been featured on American Salon. She attributes her success to perseverance, passion, and an obsession with the salon industry. Ashley has been in the industry for over 10 years and recently moved to Brooklyn from San Diego. She believes education and awareness of new trends and techniques have been key to her success. Ashley works as a national Redken educator to help shape the salon industry. You can catch her here at OPC Salon a few Saturdays a month with a paint brush in hand, doing what she loves most. Ashley always finds inspiration for new ways to create beautiful hair color — whether it’s a beautiful blonde, a bombshell brunette, or a vibrant creative color.

Mickey is an expert in cutting and barbering. She has apprenticed under Sassoon and Arrojo educators, as well as the top barbershops in the city. Mickey loves giving each client a personalized haircut based on their hair length and texture. She joined OPC Salon in the spring of 2018, and she’s now incorporating color into her customized haircuts.

Christine believes that when you look good, you feel good — and feeling good gives you the confidence to put your best foot forward and achieve amazing things. Christine loves to create looks that are tailored to each client's unique style and attitude. She sees making people feel their best as an honor and a privilege. Christine has 10 years experience in the industry, beginning as a receptionist in her hometown in Wisconsin. She's studied fashion in Chicago and sustainable design here in NYC. Christine's eclectic background informs her approach and inspires clients and colleagues alike.

Sarah's years in theater led her to the beauty industry. She sees hair as another medium for telling your story. A skilled braider, Sarah loves creating special occasion looks for everything from music festivals to weddings. Sarah is a pro who works with clients of all ages, including children. When she's not in the salon, she works as an arts educator, making her a warm, patient, and engaging kids' stylist. Sarah was the recipient of the 2016 Vidal Sassoon Beauty Changes Lives Scholarship.
